Cuan Saor is a voluntary not-for-profit organisation committed to
providing a range of services to women and children who have or are
experiencing domestic violence. Services include: Refuge
Accommodation, * hour freephone Helpline,
Support & Information, Outreach Support & Information, Childcare
Services, Court Support Services, Counselling, Pattern Change
Education Programme. The organisation is funded by Tusla and has a
voluntary Board of Management.
WE WISH TO RECRUIT A
SAFE HOUSE DEVELOPMENT & SUPPORT WORKER (MATERNITY COVER)
The purpose of this post is to develop safe house accommodation with
support, to women & children who are moving on from refuge and working
towards securing permanent accommodation.
* To work closely with the management team to develop, deliver and
review accommodation and housing supports to women and children in
refuge from initial contact to safety.
* Develop policies and procedures in conjunction with the management
team.
* To build and uphold an excellent collaborative working
relationship with Tipperary Local Authority housing staff in relation
to the provision of housing, contractual agreement and obligations in
providing a range of service to our client group.
* To work collaboratively with Tipperary Local Authority and other
relevant housing bodies to assist in supporting women and children to
secure suitable permanent accommodation.
This post is funded by Tusla and is part-time **Apply on the
